Quinta Ten Chi
Quinta Ten Chi is an epicenter for embodied practice and contemplative arts.
For over forty years, it was home to an Aikido dōjō, a Japanese martial art rooted in presence, relationship, and non-violence. After the master’s passing in 2015, the dōjō closed, marking the end of one lineage and the opening of another.
In recent years, it has become a living ground for social artists, Contact Improvisation, meditation retreats, and Tai Ji—anchored in daily practice and embodied inquiry.
Nestled in the green microclimate of Sintra, near Várzea de Sintra, fifteen minutes from the Atlantic, the land looks toward the Palácio da Pena and the Sintra Mountains.
Today, it is our home: a place for families, shared life, and an ongoing experiment in co-living centered around practice.

A place where sky and earth meet in your heart.
Sintra, Portugal
